MARKETING LINK AT INTERCHARM 2024

At the start of the most magical, yet busiest time of year, packed with work, the 23rd International Beauty Industry Exhibition, InterCHARM, took place in Kyiv. From September 18 to 20, at the International Exhibition Center on the left bank of the Dnipro River, over 400,000 square feet of space were filled with the leading representatives of the beauty industry. For three full days, it was all about beauty hustle—networking, masterclasses, and for the top professionals, judging competitions.

As the organizers noted, the exhibition is a “platform for showcasing the latest products and technologies and a gateway for new brands and companies entering the market.” Marketing Link has experience working with 40+ beauty clients, including bringing products to market, so we couldn’t stay in our comfort zone—and we weren’t wrong!

What Marketing Link Discovered at the Exhibition (and Why Our Marketer Ended Up in Handcuffs)

  • Our valued clients, whom we’ve worked with since 2016—yep, that’s over 8 years in 2024! Time really flies. In fact, with awesome clients, it doesn’t just pass—it zooms by, as conversations flow easily and leads come in quick and steady. We hugged, took photos, and were thrilled to catch up. In short, lots of love and happy reunions at the events and in our work chats.
  • New market players. We were truly impressed by the number of fresh faces in the health, beauty, and creativity sectors. May the market thrive and grow!
  • Experienced leaders. We’re not afraid of complex projects, new markets, or brainstorming strategies, so we were happy to consult with top professionals. And they, in turn, gifted us some cool merch—how sweet, we won’t lie!
  • Show-stopping professionals. Ah, the joy! Masterclasses and an energy boost! Just look at how Egor MUA performed—what a show!
  • Former employees. Yes, we’re always happy to see our colleagues. We treated them to chocolates and shared the latest trends as smoothly as Google could recommend them.

But let’s get serious—the audience was serious. We’re talking top-notch manufacturers of professional cosmetics, tools, and equipment for salons and clinics, cosmetics, perfumes, and household chemicals for retail, raw materials, packaging, and equipment for the production of perfumes, cosmetics, and household chemicals. Also in attendance were beauty salon managers, clinic and wellness center directors, industry professionals, buyers for beauty salons and clinics, and wholesale distributors.

And who did we not see? Fellow marketing professionals, at least not with booths. Well, it’s nice to be unique. But there were plenty of CRM implementation specialists, and guess what they did? You’ll never believe it—they handcuffed our marketer! Yep, those rascals! And they say all’s fair in sales. Well, well. We knew you wouldn’t believe us, so we took a picture.

A Strategy, Wrapped in Gifts

Don’t think we just took freebies at InterCHARM 2024—although, of course, we love a good gift! In return, Marketing Link came fully prepared with sweet treats of our own: 1,200 chocolates, dark chocolate, of course, to keep all the beauties and gents in top shape, along with Coca-Cola, notebooks, pens—everything our marketing besties Natalia and Liza packed in a stylish turquoise suitcase. The event went so well, they came back with a suitcase light as a feather.

How’s that for an explanation? We’re just as shocked at how perfectly it matched!

Our backs and feet may have ached, but our spirits were high because we truly made it through. And what kept us going? The fact that we were surrounded by:

  • Non-stop masterclasses;
  • Prize giveaways;
  • Live networking sessions to inspire growth;
  • And discussions on the best collaboration deals.

Thank you so much for the invitation (even though we totally invited ourselves—it was still awesome!). It was bright, exciting, and downright mind-blowing.

Now, we’re catching our breath, stretching our backs, getting our legs in shape, slapping on Voltaren on our knees, and heading to the next expo!
