5 PHOTOS BEFORE MARKETING: HOW WE AT MARKETING LINK GOT LOST IN MEMORIES
Almost every month we organize small fun activities for the team and save them for our history.
This time we had a photo contest—but not just any contest! We collected 5 photos from each person and covered the faces, to make guessing more fun.
The Kahoot contest turned out to be one of the most enjoyable games we’ve had—and we’ve had quite a few. Here are just a few that we noted down:
- From Love to Hate: The Music Game by Music Marketing Link
- How the Marketing Link Team Felt Nostalgic Listening to 2000s Songs
- Secret Santa at Marketing Link 2025

Who would’ve thought we’d have so many cool vacation photos—so many mountains, sun, and sea, plus creativity, costumes, and even a little chaos. But every photo was an amazing story. We laughed, guessed, and got to know each other all over again.
For example, we had two photos with elephants—and one of them was AI-generated. A few photos from Euro 2012 came from different team members—like they planned it together.

Among us were:
- sea wolves and art ladies,
- poets with backpacks full of pink adventures,
- bikers without bikes and preschool diplomats,
- world watchers and world makers,
- and even aliens.
Anya shared warm family photos and mountain bike trips. Mykola—in a bathtub with confetti and a cake made of Red Bull—yes, very eccentric. We learned that Ivan enjoys mushroom hunting and parties.
Vlad loves soccer and had fun during his student years. Liza is in harmony with nature, and Natasha is arthouse wrapped in punk-soccer, aliens, school parent committee—she’s everywhere at once.

Roma surprised us—in every photo he looked amazing: a fun barbershop, a gift shop, and those same AI elephants—all about him. Roma Chaika is truly a son of the sea, because most of his photos stood out with wave colors and a stylish hat. We saw Serhii as a chef and smiled at the analog childhood photos.
Yulian looked like he came straight from National Geographic—bamboo jungles, boat crossings, a cannon-lined shore. Yulia showed the team the view from the top of a slag heap, and her star performance in the school theater.

Results
We had a total of 5 winners—the top 3 prize places and 2 prizes for the most creative photo.
- Guessed correctly: Anya, Liza, and Yulian.
- Submitted the most creative photo: Yulia and Vlad.
The prizes—panettone—are almost a tradition by now.And next up is a new game—we’re already getting ready.
